24 Hour Restaurants near Hartford, CT
It's 10:10pm, Monday night the week of finals.
We've all been there.
Suddenly and without warning it strikes from the depths of my innards... the hunger pangs slam into my existence like train. The worst part, pretty much everything in central Connecticut shuts down after 9pm. I mean, even our bars close at 2am on SATURDAYS. That's pretty weak. The constant hunt for 24 hour stores, 24 hour diners, pretty much anything open 24 hours is a way of life here in Hartford.
After a brief e-argument with my partner in crime we decided on Denny's. The argument was not about the quality of the food, far from it! Denny's continues to amaze me, as it has been feeding me 24 hour grand slam breakfast meals since I was a ripe 15 year old out way past curfew.
The argument was over which one was closer. We are blessed here in Hartford with having no eateries open 24 hours within close reach, they are all a few towns away. A quick visit to Denny's store locater quelled the rage that was sure to develop as we debated even further whether Google Maps or Mapquest was more accurate.
The Denny's in Wethersfield, CT was decided closer than its counterparts in Southington and Vernon... by almost 5 miles.
Grand slam, HERE I COME!!!
